Parent & child parking
Our car parks provide easy, safe and direct access into the centre for shoppers with little ones. There are plenty of parent and child spaces in all of the car parks.
Disabled parking
We have plenty of designated parking spaces in all the Centre car parks. Most are sites within easy reach of the main entrances. Centre Security personnel patrol the car parks and will deal with any parking abuse of the spaces set aside for customers with disabilities.
You can find EV Charging Points on Regent 13 car park opposite Trafford Treetop Adventures and Peel 4 and Peel 5A car parks on the lower level. Download the car park map here.

Trafford Centre has 18 car parks and 11,500 parking spaces including disabled, parent and child spaces and EV charging. Passenger lifts and escalators give easy access from each car park directly to the shopping centre.
As well as easy access by car from the M60 motorway with free parking, Trafford Centre is also accessible by Metrolink tram, nearby train stations, a dedicated bus station, secure cycle parking and an on-site private hire taxi service.
Our new guest services lounge is now open on lower Regent Crescent opposite Virgin holidays. The space is located close to our blue badge parking and our friendly team are on hand for all customer enquiries and can help with:

Let’s face it, shopping can be dull for little ones…but not at The Trafford Centre. Here, you can collect a Fun Buggy to keep them entertained!
You’ll find Fun Buggies available to hire near the Great Hall staircase, opposite the cash machines. These are miniature cars which are great for keeping the kids smiling while you shop. You can even hire a life size Playmobil fire engine or police car!

There is a a £20 refundable deposit.
Please note: Fun Buggies are not available for hire during the last hour before the centre closes and suitable identification is required.

Tips for parents
Teach your child to recite their name, address and telephone number.
Get a free wristband from the Guest Services Lounge on lower Regent Crescent.
Sew or write their surnames only in any clothing.
Encourage young children to stay close and hold your hand or trolley.
Make sure that children know that Trafford Centre staff wear red polo shirt, red gilet and black trousers and also Trafford Centre name badges.
If you have lost a child inside a store, enquire at the nearest till. If on the malls ask a member of The Trafford Centre staff or at a Customer Services Desk.
Children remain your responsibility. Please DO NOT leave them unsupervised, especially when using lifts and escalators.
If you are little and lost
STOP, stand still and LOOK around. DO NOT run around.
If you see the person you came with, go straight back to them and hold their hand.
If you cannot see the person you came with go straight to the till if you are in a shop.
If you are out in the malls look for a member of Trafford Centre staff who has an red polo shirt, red gilet and black trousers and name badge on.
When a nappy needs changing, mummy needs a rest, or a toddler needs taming, our parent and baby rooms are on hand to give you a calming and peaceful environment.
Here at The Trafford Centre you’ll find baby changing facilities, nappy dispensers and private areas for feeding – all conveniently located in all the main toilet areas.
Left your buggy at home? No problem. Pushchairs can be hired in the centre.
Pushchairs can be hired at the Guest Services Lounge on lower Regent Crescent. There is a refundable £20 deposit required as well as proof of ID.
All our toilets located in The Orient Food Court, lower Regent Crescent and upper Peel Avenue have dedicated disabled toilets including assisted change facilities.

Annual Membership*

Once you have finished using your wheelchair mobility scooter, we ask if you can kindly return it to the Guest Services Lounge, if you have somebody with you that is able to do this.
